25 THINGS I HAVE LEARNT SO FAR FROM UNIVERSITY

Here is a list of the things I have learnt from my University experience so far.

1) Living with girls is probably just as messy, if not messier, than living with boys.

2) Cleaning the toilet is the worst household chore.

3) You become positive that you live with a ghost.

4) You realise how much your parents do for you when you move out and live in student accommodation.

5) Food from supermarkets is expensive, markets have much better quality produce and the food is cheaper.

6) Alcohol is not my friend (particularly tequila).

7) Treble vodkas are the devil.

8) Partying all the time can get boring and tiring, a night in with food and Netflix is much more appealing.

9) Always take a pair of flats out on a night out in your bag.

10) 3am takeaways after a night out become the norm.

11) Staying awake in lectures is near enough impossible.

12) Naps, no matter how much work you have to do, are totally acceptable and more important.

13) Leaving a 2000 word essay to the last week before the deadline turns you into a hermit.

14) Harvard referencing will become your enemy.

15) There is nothing wrong with showing your nerdy side.

16) Dominos and caffeine are my best friends.

17) Staying in pyjamas in bed all day is totally acceptable.

18) Binge watching TV series and becoming addicted is normal.

19) Being alone is okay, surrounding yourself with tonnes of people isn't always what you need.

20) Not everyone is as they first seem.

21) Feeling homesick is the worst feeling.

22) Your mum's cooking is actually good.

23) Lack of sleep becomes common.

24) Turning 20 makes you feel like a dinosaur.

25) You miss your siblings, no matter how annoying they are.

Can you relate to any of these? What else would you add to the list?
