I'm not just your typical nine-grand-a-year student. My name is Leanne and I am currently a 20 year old, second year Biomedical Science student from Sheffield studying at Northumbria University in Newcastle. As a University student studying a life Science, I am stereotyped in being a nerdy, head-in-books kinda girl which I am when it comes to my degree, however, when I'm not studying for my degree I am the total opposite.
As a huge fan of health, beauty, food as well as fashion, art and of course science, I am quite a diverse person and probably not your stereotypical Biomedical Science student.
As a student in the party city that is Newcastle, it would be wrong to have moved here if I didn't enjoy partying and the social aspects of University. As a student, times are tough (especially being a nine-grand-a-year student) because you don't realise how expensive the cost of living is at first. My blog is based on health, lifestyle and beauty but focuses on these aspects in a non-expensive way!
